Metrics that matter! Why are we obsessed with attendance?
When your superior asks you „How did the meeting go?“, what do you answer? At various occasions, I answered: „Oh, it went well, we had only 8 participants but 7 of them were new, so apparently the marketing works and we are increasing the number of people engaged!“
Metrics that matter more:
- „Thank yous“ -> someone was actually touched
- The number of „repeat offenders“ -> They have had such an evening before, apparently they liked it enough to come back!
